PR62 Thermo:


Willing to provide complete solutions in aluminium systems, PROFILCO S.A. created a new system especially for entrance doors, PR62.

This new series follows the basic co-planar design of PROFILCO which provides diachronic constructions.

A basic alteration of PR62 comparing to the conventional systems in the market is that it was especially designed for entrance doors, and it is not another system for windows that can be used for constructing doors as well. This was the reason that PR62 design did not follow the common practice of “camera European” the accessories of which (e.g.: hinges) restrict the permissible sash weight and thus the dimensions of the constructions. Moreover, when using the reliable external hinges, the constructing time increases dramatically.

With 1,6mm minimum profile thickness PR62 gives to the constructions the endurance necessary for large dimension entrance doors.

Furthermore, the 20mm thermal break provides high level thermal isolation even in the most extreme weather conditions.

The constructor is now able to correspond in every architectural requirement and to construct single and double-leaf, inside and outside opening entrance doors faster easier and more reliably.


Main characteristics of PR62:

  • Frame and sash width 62mm.
  • Thermal break profiles with the use of 20mm polyamide.
  • Thickness reinforcement in critical points for maximum endurance (minimum thickness 1,6mm).
  • Profile connection either by corner joining machine or by pattern plate and pin.
  • Specially designed profiles for sealing at the lower side of the door.
  • Ensured waterproof of the constructions by using special designed plastic plugs.
  • Reinforced up to 2mm adjustable hinges that are easily mounted on the frame and sash.
  • Striking plate mounting without machining.
  • 2 sealing gaskets pursuing the European philosophy of designing aluminium systems.

PR63 Thermo:


Ideal for construction with high specifications in thermal and sound isolation. It is a system with greater heat isolation, provides ideal protection from cold and heat as also from external noises by providing ideal conditions to the areas that protects. It is the best solution for those who have great expectations from aluminium systems because it offers perfect aesthetic and technical solutions.


Main characteristics of PR63:

  • Sash width 63mm.
  • Can embrace double glazing 10-42mm.
  • By using polyamide (24 mm) it is interrupted the thermal and sound flow between the external and the internal profile.
  • Saving energy by reducing the cost for heating and cooling.
  • Avoidance of the condensation at the internal profile.
  • The complete waterproof is ensured with the special drainage channels in all profiles as also with three EPDM gaskets which seal the system.
  • The central gasket is installed with a special vulcanized corner which prevents licking at corners.
  • Special thermal break profiles for the sealing of the door at the lower part.
  • Possibility to assemble the constructions with the use of gripping machine and special glue.

PR63S Thermo:


PR63S Based on the classic PROFILCO PR-63 series, it is a continuation of it, following the current of the time that imposes straight lines in the design, giving the window a fresh air and a modern aesthetic. PROFILCO's new proposal for robust solutions, opening thermal insulation frames, modern design, is ideal for applications of high demands in thermal and sound insulation.


Main characteristics of PR63S:

  • Sheet width 74.2mm.
  • Accepts double glazing 29-58mm.
  • Polyamides (24 mm), which interrupt the flow of heat and sound between the outer and inner side of the frame.
  • Save energy by reducing heating or air conditioning costs.
  • Avoiding the phenomenon of liquefaction of water vapor inside the window.
  • Waterproofing is ensured by special drainage channels in all profiles as well as by three EPDM hoses that seal the system.
  • Special thermal insulation profiles for sealing the front door at the bottom.

PR72 Thermo:


PROFILCO S.A continues the strategy of offering to the constructors safe, reliable and quality aluminium with functionality has created a completely new thermal break system PR72 with multi locking system.

PR72 thermal break system designed according to the needs of the constructors and the international market, The design has been based to the line of existing systems of PROFILCO by adding also all the advantages of multi locking system. PR72 is a high specification opening system which protect ideally from heat and cold as also from noises.


Main characteristics of PR72:

  • Special designed steel locking which are installed perimetric of the sash in order to ensure the maximum safety for the construction.
  • Easy assembly demands less time and cost.
  • Frame and sash width 72 mm.
  • Thermal break profiles with the use of 24mm polyamide.
  • Central gasket made of EPDM with 5mm overlap which can be modified up to 8 mm by increasing the tolerances for the profile cutting, to avoid problems of malfunction to the windows that are made from the adjusting of the sashes. This way ensures the perfect seal of the central gasket.
  • Gaskets made of soft EPDM with easy installation for the frame.
  • 8 mm overlap of the sash for better seal.
  • EPDM gaskets which can clip to the profiles.
  • Central gasket made of EPDM which can be installed with vulcanized corners in order to have the maximum waterproof.
  • Minimum thickness of profiles 1,4 mm.
  • Drainage channels in all frames and sashes.
  • Thickness reinforcement in critical point of the profiles for static reasons.
  • Connection of the profiles with corner joints with pin or with the use of gripping machines.
  • Special designed corner joint for the sash and the frame to withstand in maximum load of 130 Kg that the perimetric mechanism is designed for.
  • New hand operated punch press, which except the basic operation has also possibility to make configuration for the hinge of the sash to prevent the break of drills when we use drilling plates, as also water drainage configuration to the sash.
